Kiama Sculpture Walk
The Kiama Sculpture Walk has become an important part of the region’s cultural calendar. We’re proud of the role it plays in bringing people together, locals and visitors alike, around exceptional Australian art in a setting as beautiful as Kiama’s coastline.
This year’s exhibition features around 30 sculptures across one of the most scenic foreshore walks in New South Wales. Since opening, it has drawn visitors from across the state and beyond, with real flow-on benefit for local businesses, accommodation providers and the wider Kiama community.
This is bigger than an art show. The Kiama Sculpture Walk gives Australian artists, many of them regionally based, a chance to reach audiences who might never set foot in a gallery. It gets people down to the foreshore, sparks conversations and gives the community something to feel genuinely proud of. The response from Kiama locals has been wonderful, and that connection is at the heart of what ARTPark Australia is all about.
If you haven’t visited yet, we’d love you to come and see it. The work on display this year is some of the best Australian sculpture you’ll find anywhere.
